In Memoriam: Fort Hood

The tragedy of the Fort Hood massacre touches us all. We can scarcely comprehend the stress, or hatred or ideology that seeks to justify the senslessness of this act.

But we all honor the lives and seek to console the families of those who died on that day. And we appreciate the words of the President as he seeks to convey the love, gratitude and grief of an entire nation.

I thought his speech was a bunch of crap. He refused to call it what it was--a case of domestic terrorism. He said no faith justifies these murderous and craven acts. Well, yes, there is, it's called Islam. Millions of people kill "infidels" and justify it by their scripture.

Anyone can read a teleprompter, he didn't even write his own words. His heart was not in it. He hates the military. The thought of victory on the battlefield is embarrassing to him. He has said a number of times that he isn't interested in victory.

Chris,

To be honest, do you think by now that anyone expected you to say anything good about the President?!

My only surprise (and believe me its very slight), is that you would want to court the danger of associating this with terriorism. At least before an investigation reveals as much.

Sorry you like to be so reckless in demonizing another group, but Islamophobia is still something we have to be careful of.

Besides, if we talk about domestic terrorism, there is a particular demographic that is responsible for much more domestic terrorism than any other group. We just like to term it 'isolated incidents by misguided, ignorant and bigoted individuals.' It sounds nicer...

I LOVE OUR PRESIDENT, BARAK OBAMA!!! He is so accessible, available, present where there is a need... so kind and compassionate... so brilliant. He has not disappointed me but rather has exceeded my expectations! Think of all of the challenges he is meeting.

I love the job he is doing, and, although I feel very sorry for people like Chris who are so negative towards him, it's good we have freedom of speech in order for them to express their [Rush's, Fox News's, etc.] opinions.

NO UGLY, HATEFUL WORDS CAN DAMPEN MY UNMITIGATED JOY THAT, after the last abysmal 8 years or so, WE AT LAST HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO IS WORTHY OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY AND IS UP TO THE TASK OF LEADING THE FREE WORLD.

I believe he will go down in history as one of the greatest Americans ever to live and serve.

HOORAY!!!!!

"court the danger of associating this with terrorism." What danger?

Well let's see:

1.He listened to the same anti-American "preacher" as the 9/11 terrorists. Same mosque.
2.He shouted his allegiance to Allah before shooting.
3.He was in touch with Al-Qaeda
4.Gave a 50 page power point presentation about Muslims in the military.
5.Told military colleagues that infidels should have their throats cut and hot oil poured down their throats.
6.He was very supportive of what happened in Ark. when the army recrueter got shot. And many other things.

When the police officer was killed the other day in Washington State, he was referred to as a domestic terrorist in the media, so why can't Major Malik be referred to as such?

He is a Muslim domestic terrorist and the reason the President does not use the "T" word is because it would be the first Muslim terrorist attack since 9/11 on American soil.

As far as Obama is concerned, he has been a failure so far. He has gone all over the world running down our country. He is spending money like a drunken sailor, but I don't mean to put down sailors. He has promised transparency and we are not given a chance to read the House bill, all 2,000 pages of which few in Congress have read it. He said if he passed the stimulus bill, unemployment would not go aboce 8%, now it's 10% and probably much more. It is filled with unbelievable pork. He lies about the jobs it supposedly creates. He has filled his administration with far left and even communist czars. At least one did not report sexual abuse of a child. When/if the health bill is passed he will start on cap and trade which is based on a scam. Our taxes will reach 45% soon along with inflation. Our children and grandchildren will not have a good life.
